Rangers 3, Avalance 1: Gaborik’s Hat Trick Pushes Rangers Past Avalanche

Marian Gaborik had his 10th career hat trick, rookie Chad Johnson made 34 saves for his first NHL win, and the New York Rangers snapped a five-game losing streak.

Kotalik doesn’t travel with Rangers, divorce appears likely

Larry Brooks of the NY Post reported this evening that winger Ales Kotalik(notes) "has left the Rangers after being told that he would be traded," which is diametrically opposed to TSN's report that the Rangers sent him home in preparation for a trade that may or may not come.
