Since the season started we have been saying that Ethan Werek (2009 2nd) was the best pick that the Rangers made in the 2009 NHL Draft. Nothing against anyone else who the Ranger's picked but Werek is a cut above the rest.

Lessons From the Road

Since I spend most of my time covering the New York Ranger prospects then it is only when the Rangers come out west that I look at them as if I do any of the prospects. What I saw over the last 3 games should concern Ranger fans but sadly not all of the concern is about the team itself.

Considering that Jokinen had just played the night before for a different sweater in a different system with a different coach, I thought he played well. Considering the Rangers, one of the coldest teams in the NHL went into Los Angeles against one of the hottest teams in the league, and were 2 goal posts away from coming up with a win, you can’t feel all that upset about the game.
